Itinerary

Day 01 · Arrival in Paro – Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport and meet your Orion Bhutan Travel guide. Visit Tachog Lhakhang, cross its traditional iron-chain bridge, and stop at Chhuzom, the confluence of the Pa Chhu and Wang Chhu rivers. Continue to Thimphu and visit Buddha Dordenma before checking into your hotel.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 02 · Thimphu Tshechu Festival & Cultural Experiences
Spend the day experiencing the lively Thimphu Tshechu, featuring traditional Cham dances, colorful costumes, music, and religious ceremonies. Later, visit the National Institute for Zorig Chusum, Simply Bhutan, and National Memorial Chorten.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 03 · Thimphu – Dochula – Punakha
Travel through the scenic mountains toward Punakha. Stop at Dochula Pass (3,100m) to admire the Himalayan panorama and the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Continue to Punakha and take a peaceful walk through rice fields to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple associated with Lama Drukpa Kuenley.

Day 04 · Punakha Sightseeing – Paro
Explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Walk across the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge before driving back to Paro through Bhutan’s scenic mountain landscapes.

Day 05 · Tiger’s Nest Hike & Traditional Hot Stone Bath
Embark on the unforgettable hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery), one of Bhutan’s most iconic sacred sites. After the hike, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. In the evening, relax with a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath followed by a farewell dinner.

Day 06 · Departure from Paro
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before your guide and driver transfer you to Paro International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your Bhutan festival journey to an end.
